Description
The Broadway comedy *Chicago* tells the story of two female murderers in 1920s Chicago—housewife Roxie Hart and popular showgirl Velma Kelly—and how they use media hype and a corrupt justice system to evade the status of "celebrity criminals" and escape execution by hanging. The story is filled with dark humor and satirizes the dark side of the media, entertainment industry, and the legal system.
